NQ - after a completed five wave up structure we normally get a large corrective structure

We can count five waves up off Sep 2020 low.

That five wave up rally was followed by a quick a-b-c down move labelled -a-.

hat a-b-c down pullback retraced 33.3% of the preceding rally. We normally get a corrective a-b-c structure that retraces 41.4% – 50% or 66.7% of the preceding five wave up rally.

NQ - 240 min chart updated at 9-30 PM on 5-24-2021

I would like to see a bigger corrective fractal to play out. Normally, after completion of a five wave up structure, a corrective pullback re-tests the low made by wave 4 down, the low made by the previous corrective wave of one degree lower. On the NQ chart above you can see that so far NQ has not tested that low.

This is why I count a move up off the last low made on May 13 as a corrective wave -b- up.

That fractal allows bears to turn NQ down and produce an impulsive decline in wave -c- down.

As I noted earlier today, the low of a micro wave iv down made at 13,356.50 (the low made by Friday pullback) becomes a micro support to watch.

Bears need to break under that low to confirm completion of pullback in wave -b- up and start of decline in wave -c- down.

Corrective (A)-(B)-(C) down fractal that normally follows a completed five wave up fractal
