The Main Fractal
FIVE WAVES DOWN

The Five Wave Down fractal (a repeating pattern) is a backbone of any trending move down. That impulsive move keeps pushing price lower until the whole structure is played out. That makes that fractal a powerful predictive tool in trading and investing.
MAIN FEATURES
- The Five Wave Down fractal is subdivided into five waves
- Each of waves 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 is composed of smaller waves A down, B up and C down
- Waves 1, 3 and 5 are waves in direction of the main trend. We call them "impulsive waves"
- In waves 3 and 5 price makes lower lows
- Waves 2 and 4 are "corrective waves", temporary pullbacks in countertrend direction
- In corrective waves 2 and 4 price makes lower highs
