Retracement Ratio of Wave 4 = Wave 4 / Wave 3 * 100%

Corrective Wave 4 is always shorter than preceding impulsive wave 3. 
Wave 4 down reacts to a preceding impulsive wave 3 up. We always measure counter trend wave 4 down in terms of ratio of its length to length covered by preceding wave  3 up. We call such a ratio “retracement ratio”.
