The bullish structure in silver looks questionable
We have two problems with a bullish count of silver.
Problem one is the second leg up is very weak and has not tagged the very minimum 100% ext of the first leg up labelled as -a- up.
Ideally the second leg up in wave -c- up has to have a clean five wave structure.
The problem no.2 is that the micro wave iii up fell short of the minimum target at 176.4% ext = 23.78.
We can attempt counting this consolidation as a larger wave iv down composed of three waves labelled as a down, b up and c down.
But the weakness of subwave c of wave iii up is a really bad sign.
That count in theory allows bulls to push higher in a micro wave v up and one more rally would solve the problem no.1
But of bears manage to break under 23.027 (66.7% retracement of wave iii up ) I would take money off that table.
At the moment we do not have a good long setup in silver.
Even if bulls manage to produce another push higher they would complete wave -u- that has to be followed by a large pullback in wave -ii- down.
The main risk for bulls is that move up was just another corrective pullback to be followed by another decline to a new lower low of the year.
